A Supportive, Step-by-Step Path to Homeownership
Buying a home at Settlers’ Crossing is designed to be clear, supportive, and step-by-step. Here’s what you can expect:
Complete the Brief Survey
Start by filling out our short online questionnaire. This helps us understand your household size, income range, and basic eligibility for the program.

Initial Income Qualification
After you submit the survey, a member of our team will contact you to let you know whether you appear to be income-qualified for the homes at Settlers’ Crossing and explain the next steps.
Gather Your Documents
You'll be asked to begin collecting standard financial documents (such as recent pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements) that are required to verify eligibility for affordable homeownership programs.
First-Time Homebuyer Counseling
All buyers must complete a HUD-approved First-Time Homebuyer Education course. This can be done either: Online, or In person, through local counseling agencies. You'll also be connected with local resources that can help you through the process.
Meet with a Financial Professional
Once counseling is complete, you will meet with a qualified financial professional or lender who will review your documentation in detail and determine your full eligibility, affordability, and readiness for mortgage pre-approval.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
Start Your Journey to Homeownership
Thank you for your interest in Settlers Crossing. We are currently preparing for the official launch of the
application process, and applications are not open at this time. To ensure you receive updates and early
notification when applications become available, we encourage you to complete our brief interest survey.
Submitting the survey will place you on our project notification list and help us better understand buyer
demand. Please note that completing the survey does not constitute an application and does not reserve
a home. It simply ensures that you will be contacted once the formal application period begins. We look
forward to supporting your path toward homeownership.
